Of West Homestead, on December 12, 2003, age 85; beloved husband of Anna (Vehec) Abarav; brother of the late Mary Dulay, Anna Jean Turkaly, Margaret Saile and George Abarav; brother-in-law of Albert "Bud" and Elizabeth Belan, Mary Ann Vehec, Sue Vehec and Helen Vehec, and the late Mary Ezak, Helen Marcinko, Joseph, Michael and Thomas Vehec; also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Abaray was a member of Knights of Columbus of Homestead Chapter 2201, 4th Degree of McKeesport and Color Guard. He is a member of the OWLS, A R N D, Western PA Slovak Cultural Assn., Western PA Slovak Day Assn., and a former member of the Moose. Friends received at SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 3501 Main St., Munhall (Member Selected Independent Funeral Homes). Visitation Sun. and Mon. 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christina Burial on Tues. at 10 am in St. Anne Church of St, Maximilian Kolbe Parish. Contributions may be made to the VA Hospital, Oakland University Dr., Pgh., PA 15240.
