He was a member of Harmony lodge No. 143, F. & A.M. Armada, and a life member of Chapter No 338 OES, Almont.
He is survived by a son, Claude Braidwood, Almont; two sisters, Mrs. James Anderson, Almont; and Mrs. James Reid, Romeo; four brothers, Rueben Braidwood, Almont: Clare Braidwood, Berville; Peter Braidwood, Romeo, and Fred Braidwood, Lansing, and two grandchildren.
The remains are in the Muir Brothers funeral home, Almont, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. Rev. Daniel Boxwell, pastor of the Almont Congregational church, will officiate. Burial will be in Scotch Settlement Cemetery under auspices of Harmony lodge.
