A native of Jessamine county, he was a son of the late John and Annie Coughlin Coleman. He attended Jessamine county schools and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic church.
Survivors include two sons, Howard P. and James F. Colman, both of Lexington; a sister, Mrs. Warren R. Sebree, Lexington; a brother John F. Coleman, Detroit, and three grandchildren.
The body will be brought to Lexington and will be taken to the W.R. Milward mortuary....... services at St. Paul's Catholic church by the Rev. Frank Campbell. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Bearers will be W.R. Anderson, Martin, Concannon, Ben Levy, Hubert Moore, George D. Karsner Jr., and Edward Fitzpatrick. (The Lexington Herald)
