George M. Ablah died on April 2, 2005. He was born on September 13, 1927 in Oklahoma City. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma Law School with a law degree in 1950. He received a BS degree in Accounting in 1975 and an MBA in 1983. He was also a certified public accountant. He practiced law as a solo practitioner in the business and tax area. He was a lifelong member of St. Elijah Orthodox Church. He is survived by his wife Joy Ablah and four children; daughters: Rochelle Ablah, M.D., and Charlotte Ablah; sons: Mitchell Ablah, and wife Judy and George Ablah, Jr., and granddaughter Alexandra. He was preceded in death by his parents Mitchell and Reafa Ablah. Services will be at St. Elijah Orthodox Christian Church on Monday, April 4, 2005 with the Trisagion service at 6:30 p.m. and the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Closing of the casket will be on Tuesday April 5, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. with The Very Reverend Constantine Nasr officiating, interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Elijah Orthodox Church, the" flowers that do not wither fund" or the charity of one's choice.
