Frank Earl Simon was born on August 3, 1934 in Crockett, Texas to George Sr. and Rebecca (Duncan) Simon. He was their third child.Frank was raised in Stumpville, Mapelton, Texas. He attended Austonio School.He accepted Christ at an early age and united with Progressive Baptist Church, his grandmother helped build, under the leadership of Rev. Harry Fred Scott.Frank married Hattie Kennard on March 5, 1967.He worked for Bud Shiver’s Feed Store, Dolly Madison, he retired from Vulcraft due to his health.
Frank departed this life on March 25, 2016 in Crockett, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Rebecca Simon, Sr.; Two grandchildren, Nitra Tillis and Arthur Tillis, Jr.; brothers, George Simon, Jr., Viell Simon and John L. Simon; sisters, Venora Simon and Freddie Simon.
