Funeral services were held Wednesday for Virgil Temple Harvey, 81, at the Palacios Funeral Home with W. E. Coffman, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiating. Burial was in the Palacios Cemetery.
Mr. Harvey was born on June 27, 1872 and passed away on November 10, 1953 at Palacios.
Included among his survivors are his wife, Mrs. Catherine Harvey, Palacios; two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Campbell, Palacios and Mrs. Dessie Wells of Van Vleck; three sons, V. J. Harvey of Clute City, Bernard Harvey and E. F. Harvey of Palacios; and 25 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren.
