DE PERE -- Mrs. Bridget Gannon, 90, widow of Owen Gannon and a pioneer settler in Holland, died this morning in her home in that township.
The body of Mrs. Gannon is at the Ryan funeral home and may be viewed Saturday afternoon, then will be taken to the residence of a son, John, in Hollandtown. The rosary will be said there at 8 o'clock Sunday night. Definite funeral plans have not been made, but the funeral probably will be Monday with service, in St Patrick’s church, Askeaton.
Mrs. Gannon, who was born Feb. 2, 1854, In Elgin, III., was brought by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Hayes, to Maple Grove when she was three years of age She resided there until her marriage to Mr. Gannon March 21, 1871.
Nine children survive Mrs. Gannon. The sons are Michael, Cooperstown; William, San Francisco; John and Thomas, at home. The daughters are Mr. Katherine Resch, St. Paul. Mrs. Mae Rusch, San Francisco; Mrs. Nellie Quade, Appleton; Mrs. Agnes Hussong, Rockland; Elizabeth Gannon, at home
