PARALYSIS CAUSES DEATH OF H. J. CROSS
Mr. H. J. Cross suffered a stroke of paralysis at noon yesterday from the effect of which he died at 7 o'clock last night at his home, No. 438 Broad street. He was sixty-two years and survived by his wife and six sons and one daughter. His sons are A. B. and W. F. Cross of South Georgia, H. M. Cross, of Columbus; H. T. Cross of the United States Navy; J. E. and E. G. Cross of this city; and his daughter is Miss Bessie Cross, of Columbus. He was a member of Comer Memorial Baptist church and was highly esteemed by a large number of friends. Mr. Cross was an old newspaper man and printer, and before coming to Columbus about twelve years ago from Georgetown, he was interested in the publication of the Eufaula Times.
