Frederick Albert Rosenow, 90, of Naples, FL, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016. Formerly of Chicago/Naperville, IL, he had recently moved to Naples. He was born August 13, 1925 in Chicago, the son of Mae (née Renkal) and Frederick Albert Rosenow Sr.

Mr. Rosenow was a world War II veteran, serving honorably in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Alice Josephine (née Jarzab); his beloved children, Robert (Chris) Rosenow of Marco Island, FL and Karen (Robert) Lackner of Vonore, TN; sister, Harriet (the late Robert) Treat of Arkdale, WI; four grandchildren, Brenda Dominici (her fiancé, Robert Amaral), David (Lucy) Hurst, Carrie (Matthew) Darling and Jaclyn (Andrew) Provost; eight great grandchildren, Danielle, Christopher, William, Emily, Brady, Lucas, Heath and Colton; one great great grandson, Daniel; and was the fond uncle “Freddie” of many nieces and nephews.

Interment with U.S. Navy Military Honors will follow at Palm Royale Cemetery.
