∼Mrs. Lavelle L. Riddle, 97, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, at Craighead Nursing Center in Jonesboro.
Mrs. Riddle, daughter of Rufus C. and Ida Mae Graham Crawford, was born Sept. 21, 1917, at Clarkton, Mo. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Campbell General Baptist for many years. She later became a member of the Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Jonesboro.
On Dec. 25, 1939, at Malden, Mo.
She was united in marriage to Everett W. Riddle. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2000.
Her survivors include three sons, Jerry Winston Riddle (Mary) of Jonesboro, Gary Lee Riddle (Diane) of Jefferson City, Mo., and David Franklin Riddle of Winter Haven, Fla.; two daughters, Donna Joann Belt of St. Peters, Mo., and Rhonda Gail Brown (William) of Bessemer, Ala.; nine grand-children; and 14 great-grand-children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Shelia Riddle; a sister, Jettivee Campbell; and four brothers, A.J. Crawford, Junior Crawford, Othar Crawford and Owen Crawford.
Burial was in Bethany Cemetery at Campbell. Funeral arrangements were by Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, Mo.
