Funeral services for Bobbie Ann Purvey are scheduled for Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 1:00 P.M. at Mount Zion Baptist Church with Reverends Wilmer Cooper and Abraham Walton officiating. The family will hold a private burial.

Bobbie was born Sept. 10, 1957 in Ardmore to Bobby Joe and Peggy Lee Fields Purvey. She passed this life on February 12, 2013 in a local hospital. Bobbie was a 1975 graduate of Ardmore High School and attended Cook County College. She had worked for the Social Security Administration. She was a member of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by her parents, Peggy Lee Fields Purvey of Ardmore, Bobby Joe Purvey of Gainesville, Tx.; Three daughters, Shayla Purvey of Ardmore, Wyshaunda Purvey of Ardmore, Shalonda Purvey of Oklahoma City; a sister, Sherry Lynn Purvey of Lewisville, Tx.; Five brothers, Robert Keith Purvey, Vincent Purvey, Frank Purvey, Darrell Monroe and Gerald Monroe all of Ardmore; seven grandchildren, Shalexia, Marvin, Kobe, Sha’mon, Shamiaya, Jaquan, London. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Ethel Fields and grandmother, Velma Ross.
