I am fairly certain that this is Pastor Johann Friedrich Paul Lucas, who was pastor at St. John's Lutheran Church in Two Rivers from 1878 until his death ("A History of Manitowoc County", Ralph G. Plumb. Congregational records, and obituary). He had previously served parishes in Princeton, Reedsburg, Franklin, and Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. He was born on the day posted, but in the year 1842. His obituary in the Wisconsin Synod magazine, Gemeinde-Blatt, gives the date of death as July 28. The gravestone dates may be hard to read. He is listed in the 1881 census as living in Two Rivers.
