Mrs. Adeline Gregory, 1916 Wilkens avenue, died suddenly yesterday morning in Franklin Square while on her way to work. She was seen to stop as she entered the square and sit on a bench. Later, she placed her hand to her head and fell forward. Several patrons went to her assistance and carried her to the Franklin Square Hospital, where it was found she was dead. Heart disease is given as the cause of her death.
She was 31 years old and had been a sufferer from heart disease, but seemed improved lately.
She was a teacher in the Fulton avenue Baptist Sunday School. The funeral will take place tomorrow at 3 P.M. from that church.
