1910 Census lists middle initials more correctly than earlier census listings. Also my original entry listed Canada as birthplace, but obituary listed Philadelphia.

He had been the official reporter for the U.S. Senate for almost 60 years. He died Wednesday night in Albany N.Y.
Requiem mass at St Stephens Church, officiated by Rev. Joseph Cassidy, with many of his friends in the Senate expected to attend.
Born in Philadelphia in 1843 he had been a director at the Riggs National Bank and a resident of the city for some 60 years.
Also mentions a Columbia Graphophone Co. & the Mergenthaler Linotype Co. as a director.
