Funeral services for John Franklin Caldwell, 67, were held Monday afternoon in the St. Paul Methodist Church with Pastor J.W. Porter officiating. Burial was in Muskogee's Greenhill Cemetery under the direction of the Petering Funeral Home in Muskogee.
Pallbearers were Ed H. Prichett, Bruce Jackson, J.A. Vogel, G.N. Irish, Robert L. Collins, Dr. L.S. McAlister, Carl Rose and Ollie C. Jamell.
Born March 3, 1902 in Springfield, Illinois, Caldwell died at his home on Ft. Gibson Lake after suffering a heart attack early Friday morning, August 7, 1969.
