Jimmie Dean Daniels, of Harrison, passed from this life on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at his home. He was 79 years old.
Visitation is Tuesday, April 12 at Holt Memorial Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral service is Wednesday, April 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Holt Memorial Chapel. Rev. David Shekels, Rev. Eddie Reed, and Rev. Dan Shekels will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Larry Daniels, David Daniels, Darrell Daniels, Bert Daniels, Jr, Richard Crow, and Roger Waugh.
The son of Perry Henderson and Savannah Elizabeth (Self) Daniels was born on September 17, 1936 in Swain, AR.
Jimmie, a lifetime resident of Boone County, married Mavis Marie Crow on August 14, 1954. He was the owner and operator of Jim’s Floor Coverings for 30 years. Jimmie was also a farmer and an avid hunter and fisherman and was also a strong Cardinals and Razorbacks fan.
His parents; and his 12 brothers and sisters, Georgia Brown, Roy Daniels, Corby Daniels, Rentha Rich, Bert Daniels, Sr., Hattie Biggs, Arvil Daniels, Gladys Archer, Woody Daniels, Sr., Coy Daniels, Lloyd Daniels, and Nancy Lee Daniels preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Mavis Marie Daniels, of the home; three children, Gwen Nelson and husband Steve, Linda Shekels and husband, David, all of Harrison, and Brad Daniels and wife, Jane, of Nixa, MO; three grandchildren, Matthew Shekels, Mandy Mistler, and Ben Daniels; four great grandsons; and several nieces and nephews
