Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. The Rev. Keenan Brown, pastor of St. Francis Regis Catholic Church, will officiate at the services.
Mr. Baltzar was a native of Glenmora and a resident of Baton Rouge for over twenty-seven years.
Survivors include his wife of over nine years, the former Deidra Nixon Baltazar; one son, Mikal Maston and his wife, Shayne; four grandchildren, Karson DeShawn Maston, Joey Judson, Damani Mikal, Stefan Maston and one expected granddaughter on the way, Mikalynn Taylor, all of Baton Rouge; four sisters, Joyce Stewart and her husband, Louis, of Baton Rouge, Patricia Quiett and her husband, Cedric, of Baker, Jacqueline Baltazar of Albuquerque, NM and Dianne Stolebarger and her husband, Jay, Parrish, FL; five brothers, Russell Baltazar, Jr. and his wife, Judy, Larry Baltazar and his wife, Vanessa, Ronny Baltazar and his wife, Liz, Donald Ray Baltazar and his wife, Debra, all of Baton Rouge and Rocky Baltazar of New York, NY; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Baltzar, Sr. and the former Grace Taylor; and four brothers, Roger Baltazar, James Baltazar, Patrick Baltazar and Brian Baltazar.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. Saturday until service time on Saturday.
