Sarah Adda "Addie" Powers wed George W. Plummer in Ryegate, Caledonia, VT on Nov. 11, 1881. They had 3 children Eva, Thomas and Julia all born in Kenesaw, NE. They homesteaded north of Kenesaw where the "Lone Grave" sat in the homestead section. George later went back to being a salesman and died Jan. 28, 1899 on a school supplies selling trip in Baker City, Baker, OR. His body is buried in an undetermined grave. Addie married her widowed son-in-law George Bancroft Burch in 1901. They had 40 some wonderful years before he died in 1943. Addie had a very hard life losing her father when she was 3 years old, losing her first husband when she was 38 with 3 small children. Addie outlived her two husbands, her three children and two grand-children.
