Shirley retired after 30 years of service from Owens Illinois in Newburyport, MA. Her passions were gardening, crafting and needlework that had won her many 1st place ribbons. Many people were the proud recipients of her handiwork, which were like treasures. Her sincerity, kindness, understanding and caring ways were traits that defined her and made her so very special.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Linwood Jenkins, who died in 2005.
She is survived by a son, Robert M Jenkins; three daughters, Kim H. West of Kingston, NH, Karen R. Ruscito and husband William Schmidt of Orlando, FL and Kathy A. Gonet and husband Richard A. of East Kingston, NH; five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; three sisters, Pauline Savage of Corinth, ME, Rebecca Larrabee and husband David of Columbia, MD, and Marsha Morgan and husband Bryan of Hebron, ME, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister, Richard Elliott, Mark Elliott and Constance Rodick.
Interment will be in Belleville Cemetery, Newburyport.
