Cecelia M. Acampora, 80 of Hanover, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016. Born in Somerville on December 11, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Cecelia (Green) Turgeon. She was involved in the Boy Scouts and Campfire Girls for over 22 years and taught CCD at St Mary’s Church for many years. Most importantly, Cecelia loved spending time with her family.

Cecelia was the wife of the late Anthony B. Acampora. She is survived by her children Marylyn Aiello and her husband Joseph of Bridgewater, Anthony Acampora and his wife Andrea of Hanover, Paul Acampora and his wife Wanda of Bridgewater, David Acampora and his wife Catherine of Pembroke, and Stephen Acampora and his wife Lisa of Plymouth. Cecelia is survived by her nine grandchildren; Kelly Gaziano, Kimberly Mugimu, Regina Maliff, and Charles, Cheryl, Michael, Katelyn, Annamarie, and Christopher Acampora. She is also survived by her four great grandchildren; Kaleb and Kolton Maliff and Isabella and Bentley Mugimu.

Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53, HANOVER, on Monday April 11th from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9 AM at St Mary the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover Street, Rte 139, Hanover. Burial to follow at Hanover Center Cemetery.
