Marjorie M. Baker, 88, of Brookhaven, passed away April 12, 2016 at King’s Daughters Medical Center.
She was born in McComb on February 3, 1928 to Smith Felder Brumfield and Rosa Roberts Brumfield.
Mrs. Baker was the co-founder of Baker’s Pharmacy, with her husband Edwin, which was founded in 1958. Mrs. Baker also served as Vice President and Secretary of Baker’s Pharmacy.
She was also a member of Easthaven Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Edwin “Ed” Baker; son, Larry Baker; parents, Smith and Rosa Brumfield; brother, Clinton Brumfield and a twin sister, Marian Brumfield.
Survivors left to cherish her memory is her son, Lamar “Butch” Baker and wife Louise; a grandchild, Erin Baker; brothers and sisters-in-law, King Baker and wife Martha, Dal Baker and wife Polly, Delbert Barnett, Alice Soileau and husband Joe; along with a special family friend, Joyce Woods and a host of nieces and nephews."
