Mildred (Bollinger) Mathias Kochansky, 87, of York, died Tuesday at her home. She was the wife of the late Simon Kochansky.

The service will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crema tory Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery in Spring Garden Township. Viewing will be 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kochansky was born Aug. 6, 1913, in Gettysburg. She was the daughter of the late John W. and Lillie M. (Keefer) Bollinger.

She worked in the clerical departments of Hanover Shoe and the State of Pennsylvania; and was Recorder of Deeds in York County. She was a member of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ in York and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

Mrs. Kochansky is survived by a son, Ronald D. Mathias of Thomasville; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Officiating at the service will be Elmer W.V. Scofield, pastor of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, 1569 W. Market St., York 17404.
