Funeral services for William D. Towner, 81, of 6219 Brooklyn Ave., a former Auburn dry cleaner, will be held at 1 o'clock tomorrow in Forkner's Chapel, with burial in Acacia.
Mr. Towner died Sunday at home. He had lived with his daughter, Mrs. Irl E. Kuns, since he retired from business eight years ago.
Mr. Towner was born in Ulysses, Nebraska, and first came to Seattle in 1924. He moved to Auburn in 1927 and was in partnership in the Modern Cleaners with his son, Fred B. Towner.
Also surviving are two other daughters, Mrs. E. H. Mangold and Mrs. Gifford Neil, and another son, Earl M. Towner, all of Seattle; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Winifred Diers, Lincoln, Neb., and Mrs. Vera Bayer, Long Beach, Calif., and a brother, Leonard Towner, Pasadena, California.
Mr. Towner was a member of King Solomon Lodge No. 60, F.&A.M., and the Scottish Rite Bodies, Auburn, and the Shrine Temple in Lincoln, Neb.
