Margaret H. Denny, nee Portel, 88, of Belleville, born January 16, 1924 in St Louis, Missouri, died Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Four Fountains Nursing Home, Belleville, IL.
Margaret retired at age 85 from St. Paul's Nursing Home as a dedicated and devoted nurse's aide. She enjoyed playing bingo, gambling, dining out, traveling, reading, and collecting angels.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar "Boots" Denny; mother, May, nee Portel, Bischett; son, Lance Cpl Edward Denny; grandson, Jason Denny; daughter-n-law, Sandra Denny; and son-n-law Bob Harrison
Surviving are her children, Arthur Denny, Houston, TX., Mary Ann Denny, St. Louis, MO, Debra (Dan) Greenfied-Shain, Freeburg, IL; Karrie Dinney and Ruby Willhite; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; in-laws, and other relatives, family and friends
