2000. He resided in Gardena, CA with beloved wife, Rose Marie Velardez,
with whom he had four children, Eliza Marie, 21, Gregory Daniel Junior, 18,
Robert Anthony, 15, Vanessa Christine, 13, and also one grandson whom he
spoiled dearly, Andrew Daniel Carraza, 2.
Gregory was born to Andrea Rodriguez Velardez and Joe Velardez, both whom he will be meeting with in
Heaven. Greg had a large, loving family with many brothers and sisters,
Maria Parga of Chino, Randy Velardez of Redondo Beach, Tanya Barrera of
Santa Clarita, Lillian Velardez, Andre Velardez, Renae Velardez, Yvette
Velardez and Fernando Velardez, all of Hawthorne and Anthony Velardez,
Diana Velardez, Claudette Velardez, Joe Velardez and Michael Cruz, all of
Redondo Beach.
Greg was born in Torrance, California and was a lifetime resident of the South Bay. He owned and operated his business "Greg's Plastering" for 25 years.
He was a husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a generous man with a good heart. He was much known as -(The Life of the Party). He brought laughter and happiness to all he met. He was
loved and will be missed by all.
