She was the wife of Thomas Hubbard who may have died on 12/17/1882.

Mrs. Mary Ann Hubbard:
From the effects of a paralytic stroke suffered two weeks ago, Mrs. Mary Ann Hubbard, wife of Thomas Hubbard of No. 272 1-2 Arlington Avenue, died Friday evening. She was 73 years of age and her demise was not unexpected, following a stroke.

Mrs. Hubbard was born in England where her earlier life was spent, but she had been a resident of this country for the past 37 years, when she had lived in this city. She was a member of the Primitive Methodist Church and was a woman of high Christian character.

She is survived by her husband and three brothers and four sisters.
They are: Samuel, Peter and Henry Somers (Sumner), Mrs. Caroline Gibson, Mrs. Elizabeth Montgomery, Mrs. Anna Dripps and Mrs. Eliza O'Brien, all of this city.

Mrs Hubbard was a woman who was held in the highest respect and very sincere sorrow is felt among a wide circle of friends over her passing from life. Funeral services Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the family home and interment at Greenwood.
