Late this afternoon, Justice Wright granted Mrs. Anna J. Barbeau an absolute divorce from her husband, William A. Barbeau, the ex letter carrier. Also custody of their four children and two dollars per week alimony.

William A. Barbeau, 85, who was one of the original six letter carriers appointed in Oswego when free delivery of mail was instituted in the city, died Sunday afternoon at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Laura McHugh, 186 East Ninth street, where he had been ill for the past two months.
He was born in Oswego, a son of the late Alexander and Mary Ann Barbeau.
He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. McHugh, a son, Floyd A. Barbeau, a sister, Mrs. Mattie Loftus, Oswego, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Interment in St. Peter's cemetery.
