Jeannette T. Isbell, 84, of Hueytown, passed away April 17, 2016. She was born in Akron, Ohio. Jeannette was a dedicated Christian, and was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. She was previously a member and Sunday School teacher at Unity Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim F. Isbell; son Jimmy Isbell; granddaughter Rhonda K. Dollar; great grandchild Dustin K. Dollar; sons-in-law Curtis Bailey and James Allen Isbell; and 2 sisters. She is survived by her children Michael Isbell (Jane), Kathy Bailey, Donald Isbell (Kay), Karen Fritz (Chet), Paula Hill (Hershel), Penny Isbell, Barry Isbell, Mark Isbell (Lisa), Kenneth Isbell, Laura Price (Mike), and Jay Isbell; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and sisters Ophelia Isbell, Billie Vines, and Dean Shackleford. The visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at 11:00 AM, at the Funeral Home, with Rev. Jeff Isbell officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
