Mr, Bankston was a honorary member of the Knights of Peter Claver, and a parishioner ol St. Charles Catholic Church in Grand Coteau. Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Clementine B.A. Bankston of Grand Coteau; three stepsons, Gus Amos of Carencro, Henry Amos of Bellevue and Lionel Amos of Lafayette; six stepdaughters, Mrs.
Mary Ann A. Charles of Bellevue, Mrs. Victoria A. Reed and Mrs. Ruby A.
Richard, both of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Betty A. Colomb of Lafayette, Mrs. Betty (Jeanette) Williams of New Iberia and Mrs. Elodie A.
Doucet of Sunset; 46 grandchildren; and 62. greatgrandchildren. A wake will be held from 5-10 p.m. today in Sibille Funeral Home in Sunset-Grand Coteau. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
