Edna Ida Arnold, 77 died Thursday, July 22, 2004 in her home after a long illness. She was born July 4, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio and has been a lifelong resident of Port Huron Twp. She married her husband of 56 years, Bernard G. Arnold on June 26, 1948 in Sacred Heart Church in Yale.

She was a devoted wife and mother, and very proud of her grandchildren, Michael Arnold, Daniel Jones, Lisa Arnold, Jennifer Jones, Ashley, Amber and Adam Reichenbach.

Edna is survived by her husband Bernard; daughter, Diana (Sheldon) Jones of Sarnia; son, David (Diana) Arnold of North Street; daughter, Linda K. (Ray) Reichenbach of Port Huron; her seven grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine and Caroline; brothers, Richard and Bill; and loving sister, Helen Randolph of Port Huron Twp.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. Rene L. Desmarais, pastor of St. Joseph Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
