Mary Lee Christensen Chivers, 82, of Whiterocks, passed away at her home on April 16. She was born on April 7, 1934, to Jens and Selma Hackford Christenesen.
She married Tex Chivers.

Mary was an avid reader, and she loved to crochet, dance, play the slots, but most of all she loved being out of doors and hunting with her family.

She was a member of the Uintah Band.

Mary is survived by her children: Willis (Rena) Chivers; Leanna (John) Thunehorst; Darlene Hullinger; 49 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; beloved partner, Norman Symonds; brothers, Dale (Connie); Terry “Ted” (Georgie); Dennis (Deann); Gerald (Ladee); Vance (Sherry); Jules (Edith); sisters, Bolena (Juve) Aguilar; Elnora (Cliff) Chandler; Dixie (Bruce) Hendricks; Leona (Van) Jensen; Christina Hullinger.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Laura Aguilar; granddaughters, Cinder Chivers and Anna Aguilar; great granddaughter, Chole Atkins; brothers, Roy, Clarence and Webb.

Graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 19, at noon at the Reed Cemetery, A viewing for family and friends was held on Monday at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Burial will be in the Reed Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
