Kathleen A. Glaze, 74, of Cameron died Sept. 21 at Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake. Funeral services were Saturday afternoon at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, with interment at Cedar Lake Cemetery.

Mrs. Glaze was born to David and Nora (Everson) Hargrave on March 5, 1932 in Mikana. She worked for Sam Bearman in Rice Lake and on March 22, 1950 married Thomas Glaze in Pine City, Minn. The couple lived in the Rice Lake area, where Mrs. Glaze was a cook at Knollwood Resort on Cedar Lake and Owens Bar & Café. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, Swedish weaving and cooking.

She is survived by five daughters, Nancy Jowers of Spooner, Beverly Zieroth of Rice Lake, Connie Diaz and Betty Servin, both of Cameron, and Tami Peterson of Humboldt, Iowa; four sons, Dan of Birchwood, Bill and Tim, both of Cameron, and Ike of Rice Lake; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; seven sisters, Adeline McManus, Betty Wittmann, Jeanette Retzlaff, Marion Magnus, Judy Gallimore, Ruthie Jager and Peggy Feldman; and three brothers, William, Gary and Howard.

Mrs. Glaze's husband, Thomas, died in 1990. Two sons Tony and Thomas also preceded her in death. [Obituary published 09/27/06 in the Rice Lake Chronotype, Rice Lake, WI.]
