NICHOLAS JOHN KIMES PV2 Nicholas Kimes of Riverside, CA died at the age of 23 on October 5, 2006. He was stationed at Ft. Sill, OK where he anxiously awaited orders to fight proudly for his country. Born on June 29, 1983 Nick began his journey through childhood surrounded by loving family and friends. He was a part of the Alvord Unified School District where he graduated from La Sierra High school as a proud member of the La Sierra Golf team. Nick then started his medical career as an x-ray technician when he decided to change course and enlist in the U.S. Army to fight for his country. Nick is survived by his loving mother and father, Ron and Judy Kimes; brother Scott and sister Tamera, as well as a countless number of other family and friends. We love you Nick and you will always be in our hearts. Viewing for Nick will be held on Friday October 13, 2006 from 9:30AM to 11:30AM with services beginning at 11:30AM, all at Thomas Miller Mortuary.
