HOWARD I. AVERILL
LIVONIA, Oct. 20 — Howard Ira Averill, formerly of Wayland, died unexpectedly in Upland, Calif., Friday (Oct. 16, 1959) having moved there to take up permanent residence about Sept. 1.
Mr. Averill was born in Avon, a son of George I. and Agnes Averill McConnell. He lived in Wayland for the past 30 years and retired from the Atlantic Oil Co. of Wayland as a truck driver a short time before moving West.
Besides his wife he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Agnes McConnell of Livonia, two daughters, Mrs. Ned Shaver, Miss Allison Averill, and a son, Ira Averill, all of Upland, Calif. Funeral and burial were held in Upland
