Mr. Clem was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Lila Hardy Clem.
He is survived by his wife Katherine Clem of Athens, two daughters, Patsy Ruf and Kathy C. Jones of Athens, two sons, Fred Clem of Athens, and Corwin (Holly) Clem of Ardmore, one brother, Billy Clem of Athens, ten grandchildren, and twenty eight great-grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Clem will be Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Tony Wales officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Ruf, Michael Jones, Freddie Clem, Daniel Jones, Justin Clem, Joe Neal Douthit, Wilson Haney, and Rett Lemay.
Mr. Clem was a member of Elkton Road Baptist Church and a member of the VFW.
