John F. O'Keefe died early today at the residence, 24 Lancaster street following a brief illness. The deceased was a lifelong resident of this city and a devout member of St. Bernard's Church and the Holy Name Society of that church. He was also a member of Cohoes Council 192, Knights of Columbus, Until several months ago, Mr. O'Keefe was employed by the city at the filtration plant. One brother, Daniel O'Keefe; two sisters, Mary and Abigail O'Keefe, and three nephews, all of Cohoes, survive. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock from the residence of his brother, Daniel O'Keefe, 82 Lancaster street and at 9:30 o'clock at St. Bernard's church where a high mass of requiem will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterford.
