George Edward Sweeney...Son of Anthony Bernard Sweeney and Mary Ann Sweeney nee Murry of Texarkana, Arkansas. Married to Lillian Leona Davis, 3 June 1925, Los Angeles, Calif. Had two daughters, three grand children...George was a Naval veteran of WW 1 and took supplies and troops over to France...Also assisted in bringing home wounded troops.He was stationed on the USS Katrina Luckenbach and later on the USS Chew.. George worked over 40 years for the LA Fire Department. A good caring and loving husband, father and grandfather..And a Uncle. His wife Lillian is also buried here. The photo is of George and wife Lillian and on their 50th Wedding Anniversary...
