Ida May Brown Teter was born May 16, 1872 in Tipton County, Indiana, to Thomas W and Nancy E (Wilham) Brown. She died in 1954. Ida married Hiram Franklin Teter on Aug. 7, 1894 in Goldsmith, Tipton Co., Ind. She was previously married to William Chesser. She gave birth to the following children: Thomas Chesser, b. Dec. 1892, Aletha Frances Teter Hinshaw b. June 8, 1895, her twin Luther Franklin Teter b. June 8, 1895, Noble Adelbert Teter b. June 14, 1899 and Elsie Eloise Teter Seagrave b. June 7, 1902. She also had 4 step children. For many years and until her death, Ida lived about 1 mile west of Boxley. She and Hiram Teter are both buried in Boxley Cemetery, Boxley, Ind.
