Born May 1, 1924 in Aaronsburg, Rosella was a daughter of the late Alice Tevola "Keller" Stover and Henry Jasper Stover. On November 14, 1942, Rosella married Dale Alden Boone of Rebersburg, who preceded her in death in 1979. On May 2, 2009, Rosella married Richard Allison of Millheim.
In addition to her husband, Rosella is survived by two daughters; one granddaughter; and one sister.
Rosella was preceded in death by one son, Lanny Boone; one daughter, Donna Renno; two sisters, Pearl Bowersox and Olivia Hosterman; and two brothers, Carl Stover and Victor Neese.
Rosella was a 1942 graduate of East Penns Valley High School. After becoming a full time homemaker, she served as Haines Township Tax Collector for several years, was a member of the Aaronsburg Cemetery Association and a member of the Pennsylvania State Grange for 75 years. As a longtime member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Aaronsburg, she was active in many roles, including choir member, organist and pianist.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Salem Lutheran Church in Aaronsburg from 2-3 pm on Monday, April 25th. The funeral service will follow at 3pm with Pastor Frank Harpster officiating. Rosella will be laid to rest in the Salem Lutheran Cemetery.
