Mrs. Ida Belle Brannan, 68, died at the home of Mrs. Felix Rogers, this morning after a three months illness. She had lived in Jefferson City 45 years, coming here from near Freeburg where she was born Oct. 10, 1880. Her husband, James, died 14 years ago.
A lifelong member of the Christian Church, Mrs. Brannan is survived by nine daughters, three sons, three brothers, one sister, 36 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Three of the daughters reside in Jefferson City. They are Mrs. Archie Bowman, Mrs. Bertie Owens and Mrs, Mary Stieferman. Another daughter, Ethel Brauch, lives at New Bloomfield. Her other daughters are Elizabeth Burch, Juanita Kaveniek, Evelyn Brannan, Agnes Sanders and Pearl Rogers.
Her surviving sons are Lawrence, James and George. Her brothers are Herman, Henry and William Curtet. The surviving sister is Nora Holden.
