He was outside gardening and he began to feel disoriented and he died that night of a Massive Stroke at the LDS Hospital at the age of 69 years old. He was also a lifetime teacher. He taught Social Studies, Government and History at Granger High School and Kennedy Junior High School. He taught for over 30 years and he retired in 1987. He was named teacher of the year at Kennedy Junior High School for the 1977-1978 School Year. After College he joined the US Air Force in the Korean War.
Funeral Services were held at the West Valley Stake Center at 3963 South 3480 West on July 30, 2002 at 10:00 AM. The Family had two viewings, One at the Valley View Funeral Home
on July 29, 2002 From 6-8:30 PM and The Second one was held at the Same place on July 29, 2002. His funeral was broadcast on TV. He was a great person and will be missed by his Family and Friends.
