When Maria "Mary" Wielinska was born in 1877, her father, Anton, was 59, and her mother, Agnes (Rucinska), was 45. Mary immigrated to the USA with her family arriving December 15, 1890 aboard the SS Nuremburg. She married Valentine "Walenty" William Zarnoch on November 20, 1894, at St Hedwig's Catholic Church in Toledo, Ohio. Witnesses were Jan Zalewski and Joann Templin. They had eight children in 16 years. She died on October 27, 1929, in Toledo, Ohio, at the age of 52, and was buried there.
