Preston L. "Rusty" Ford, age 90, of Smyrna passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Preston and Floye Mayfield Ford. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Frances Holt.

Funeral service will be 11:00am Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Bro. Dan Parker will officiate. Interment will be 2:00pm Saturday at Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbia, TN.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Duncan Ford, sons, Stephen Ford and his wife Debbie of Long Beach, MS, Randy Ford and his wife Melanie of Nashville, grandchildren, Adam Ford, Rebecca Cohoon, great granddaughter, Riley Cohoon, and eight nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ford was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and a retired service manager with International Harvester.

Honorary pallbearers are Lonzo Mayfield, Dick Dickerson, Dan Whittle, Roy Bell, D.J. Johnson, Andy Anderson and Ed Davenport.

Memorials may be made to the Parkway Baptist Church or a Charity of your choice.

The Ford family would like to thank Dr. Phillip Porch and Dr. John M. Byrnes for the care and concern given to Mr. Ford.
