Survivors include his sons Jerry Allen of South Fulton, TN, David Allen of Clarksdale, MS; daughter Linda McGuire of West Frankfort, IL; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife Elsie Simmons Allen; parents John A. and Lillie Tranum Allen; sons Terry Van Allen and Jeffrey Scott Allen.
