She is survived by her husband: Billy R. Thompson of Imperial; two stepsons: Brian Thompson of Kansas City and Mark Thompson of Festus; two daughters: Marcia (the late Mike) Clifton of Pevely and Kim (Tim) Johnson of Imperial; six grandchildren: Tracy (James) Sales of Pevely, Michael (Jen) Clifton of Festus, Sarah Johnson of Imperial, Kyle Portell of Festus, Kaylee Portell of Festus and Savannah Portell of Hillsboro; and six great-grandchildren: Matthew and Madison Sales, Aiden and Grace Clifton and Kyrah and Hunter Portell.
She was preceded in death by one son: Stanley Portell Jr.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 25, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26, at the funeral home. Burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
