Jack Hastings, age 85 of Stratford died January 20, 2008 in his home. Born in England, he was the son of the late Charles and Martha Hastings, and came to the United States in 1949. Jack retired from the Patterson Club and enjoyed playing the piano, gardening and reading. He was a member of the Royal Air Force and the Baldwin Center. Survivors include a niece of England; and his dear friend, George Jacob of Stratford. Friends are invited to attend graveside services on Thursday January 31, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Trumbull. The Dennis & D'Arcy Funeral Home , 2611 Main St. Stratford, in charge of arrangements.
