She was the wife of the late Joseph Peters.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Medeiros) Camara.
Mary was a crossing guard for the City of Cranston for many years before retiring.
She was also employed by Starkweather and Shepley Insurance Company of East Providence.
She is survived by five sons, a sister, two brothers, four grandchildren and her cousin, who was her caregiver for the past twenty-seven years.
