Herman L. Miller, 79, of 933 ½ Michigan Ave., North fond du Lac, died at 6:25 a.m. today at St. Agnes Hospital.

Born Feb 23, 1887, in Milwaukee, he was the son of Adam and Henrietta Steinbrick Miller. He married Viola Lemke Oct. 30, 1919. A welder for the Chicago and North Western Railroad, Mr. Miller worked at Kaukauna, Madison, Green Bay, Chicago and North Fond du Lac. He was a member of the Church of Our Saviour and the Kaukauna Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are the widow; two sons, Karl Miller of Manitowoc and David Miller of Alamogordo, N.M.; two grandsons; and three sisters, Mrs. Louise Taylor and Mrs. Essyl Koske of Green Bay and Mrs. Elsie Wolff of Minneapolis. His parents, one sister and three brothers preceded him in death.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home until 9 a.m. Saturday when the body will be moved to the church.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of our Saviour, Rev. Martin Ruge officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Appleton.
