Miss Claris Mabel Ashworth age 76, died February 8, 2001 at SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation in Asheboro.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Tim Pheagin officiating. Burial will be at Randolph Memorial Park.
Miss Ashworth was a native of Randolph County and was a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church. She was retired from Acme-McCrary.
Survivors include her brother, James Colon and wife, Sarah Ashworth of McAdenville, NC; nephews, John Ashworth of Abbeville, SC, and Jimmy Ashworth of Woodbridge, VA.
The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 2 until 3 PM on Saturday and other times at the home of James Colon & Sarah Ashworth, Mockingbird Lane, McAdenville, NC.
