The daughter of Newton and Sarah Baker Burton, she was born in this county March 15, 1907*. She married Mr. Goff in 1924 and three sons blessed this union. Two of her sons preceded her in death.
Mrs. Goff heard the call of the Lord early in life and united with the Sloans Valley Baptist Church. She retained her membership there until her death.
Mrs. Goff is survived by her husband**; one son, McKennley Goff, Louisville; her parents; three sisters, Mrs. Clarence VanHook, Louisville, Mrs. Jerry Marcum, Elihu, and Mrs. John Lockard, Burnside; and one brother, William Burton, Somerset.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the home of Mr. Wright near Nelson Valley, the Rev. Lonnie Meece officiating. Burial was in the Somerset cemetery.
